Framing for Small Encounters

You purchase the frame, I'll handle the rest! Order your frame alongside your 9x9cm Small Encounters artwork and I'll take all the necessary measurements and assemble it for you.
If you are buying different frame colours for multiple artworks, please state which frame belongs to which purchased artwork. The artwork will be embedded between a mat border and an adhesive foam board. This ensemble will be interchangeable between frames but in the case that dimensions vary slightly (as they do with handmade items), this will ensure they go where they belong.
Framing *Allow up to 2 weeks for framing.
A double-layer mat border is used to create a 9cm border around the artwork (the mat is designed to separate the glass from the artwork).
Glass: UV Non-Reflective. Protects the artwork from sun damage and provides minimal reflection.
Glass size: 27x27cm.
Timber frame (white or raw oak): 2x2cm
Outer frame dimensions: 31x31cm
Acid-free adhesive foam board backing
Hanger: D-rings & PVC coated wire.

All of my original art and art reprints are signed with an ‘S’ logo. This logo was the Storey family brand used by my Great-Grandfather, on what is now my Grandparent's cattle farm. The farm has been in the Storey name since the mid-19th century however the brand was only in use from roughly the 1930s to the 1960s on sheep. After shearing, the brand was dipped in dye and pressed to the sheep’s hind quarter. It would stain the wool for quite some time and be used to identify the sheep if they strayed.
I have immense pride in my origin, and I love that I am able to attach a piece of family history to the art that I create. I strongly believe that when purchasing art, it is incredibly important to feel a strong sense of passion from the artist through the painting. I hope that combining my lineage with my art expresses this connection.
